The Knitting Theologian

Why the Knitting Theologian? Because I liked the sound of it. And it’s not untrue. I *do* knit, and I *do* study theology. But this isn’t a blog about the spirituality of knitting. I’m too Catholic for that. I do think that there are precious few things in life that you get to do over, and knitting is one of those few things, and I certainly have on occasion meditated or prayed while I was knitting. On the other hand, I find prayer to be a much more reliable channel for getting to know God and experiencing His grace.

So if you’re looking for musings about how knitting can bring you closer to God, you won’t find them here. In fact there isn’t much knitting content on this blog. My prayer experiences give me better fodder for blog posting.
