Some Things About the Knitting Theologian
Updated on 6 December 2009.
- White, female, born in Los Angeles, grew up in Thousand Oaks.
- Second of five children, and the oldest girl.
- Attended public schools through college.
- Twice married, twice divorced (I wish this were different).
- Mom to one son, a musician and college student studying audio production.
- Roman Catholic, cradle to present, with a few hiatuses along the way.
- Newly devout and faithful Roman Catholic (walked out of the cafeteria in August 2006).
- INFP or INFJ–I can go either way. I got exactly the same score to determine that last letter.
- Enneagram type 5 with a 4 wing.
- Singer, specifically an alto–and everyone knows altos are the border collies of the choir. Also a cantor and choir member at my parish. Oh, and a substitute director. I’m kind of a utility player.
- Pisces sun, Pisces moon, and Pisces rising, but (to quote a friend), “considerably less watery than people might suppose.”
- Resident of the Pacific Northwest.
- Part-time graduate student at Seattle University’s School of Theology and Ministry. (Hey, it’s the only game in town.)
- Knitter.
- Runner.
- Voracious reader.
- People manager, a ministry in its own right.
- Secret lover of fast cars.
- Director of a chant schola at my parish.
- Five strengths: empathy, intellection, learner, responsibility, deliberative.
